The Opportunity

As a Mechanical Engineer within our MEP team, youll play an important role in the design and delivery of mechanical building services across a variety of projects.

Youll have the opportunity to:

• Develop mechanical services designs from concept through to completion.
• Work across HVAC, heating, cooling, ventilation, public health and associated MEP systems.
• Produce and review technical calculations, specifications and design information.
• Work collaboratively with electrical, structural and architectural teams.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Help deliver efficient, sustainable and innovative engineering solutions.
• Take on increasing levels of responsibility as your knowledge and experience grow.
• Contribute ideas and help shape the continued growth of the MEP team.

What Were Looking For

Were looking for someone with strong technical foundations, a practical approach to engineering and a genuine ambition to develop.

Essential

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, MEP Engineering or another closely related discipline.
• Good understanding of mechanical building services and MEP principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and organisational abilities.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Desirable

• Experience within an MEP consultancy, engineering business, contractor or building services environment.
• Knowledge of relevant UK standards, regulations and industry practices.
• Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit or similar.
• Experience working on building services projects.
• Working towards IEng or CEng professional registration.
