Are you an experienced Project Manager looking to make a real impact within a growing aerospace and defence manufacturing environment?

  • Manage equipment upgrades, new equipment installations, commissioning activities, and manufacturing improvement initiatives.
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and success criteria.
  • Develop and manage project plans, execution strategies, and critical path activities.
  • Conduct ongoing risk assessments and implement effective mitigation plans.
  • Ensure appropriate project governance and stakeholder engagement throughout delivery.
  • Coordinate internal teams, suppliers, contractors, and external stakeholders.
  • Provide regular project updates through operational and management meetings.
  • Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Ensure all activities comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
About You

You will be a strong communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels while maintaining focus on project objectives and business priorities.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practice.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to identify risks, resolve problems, and drive projects to completion.
  • Strong technical awareness across manufacturing processes.
  • Experience managing contractors and external suppliers.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong planning, organisation, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using Microsoft Project would be advantageous.
Qualifications

  • IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.
  • Demonstrable project management experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and project delivery skills.

  • APM, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management qualification.
  • Degree qualified in Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management, or a related discipline.
