Project Manager

Project Manager - Infrastructure.

Our client is an established specialist subcontractor with an annual turnover of approximately £5m, with ambitious growth plans our client is now looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to take responsibility for the successful delivery of infrastructure projects predominantly for Tier 1 contractors ideally within infrastructure.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who understands the standards and expectations of working within a Tier 1 environment and is comfortable managing both the operational delivery and the significant level of project documentation and reporting that comes with it.

You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, to the required quality standards and in accordance with contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing the successful delivery of infrastructure projects and work packages.
• Acting as the main point of contact for Tier 1 clients and their project teams.
• Managing programmes, progress and project milestones.
• Attending and leading project, progress and reduction meetings as required.
• Preparing and maintaining project documentation and reports.
• Producing and managing Quality Plans, ITPs, inspection records and associated quality documentation.
• Ensuring RAMS and project-specific documentation are in place and maintained.
• Managing NCRs, corrective actions and quality issues through to close-out.
• Monitoring project performance against programme, budget, quality and safety requirements.
• Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Managing variations, changes and additional works, working closely with the commercial team.
• Maintaining strong communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensuring contractual and client requirements are fully understood and complied with.
• Identifying potential project risks and implementing appropriate mitigation.
• Supporting commercial and contractual discussions where required.
• Producing accurate progress updates and management reports.
• Ensuring all project documentation is completed and handed over correctly at project completion.

Our client is looking for an experienced Project Manager who has experience delivering projects within a Tier 1 infrastructure environment. Knowledge of working on projects such as crossrail or HS2 would be an advantage.

This role is a hybrid role, core hours Monday-Friday,9-5. Holidays 25days per year + stats.
