Windows Automation & Deployment Contractor (ATM)

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting
• Windows Administration and Windows Operating Systems
• Experience with WinPE environments
• Knowledge of Windows Boot Process, Boot Records, and BCD
• Windows deployment and recovery workflows
• IT/System Administration automation experience
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for Windows administration, deployment, validation, and reporting
• Support Windows image preparation and post-image validation
• Work with WinPE and deployment/recovery environments
• Troubleshoot Windows startup, boot configuration, and BCD-related issues
• Automate operational tasks with proper logging and error handling
• Analyze deployment logs and identify failure patterns
• Follow change management, security, and operational procedures
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment reliability

Preferred Experience

• Windows imaging and endpoint provisioning
• Operating system deployment
• Post-deployment validation and testing
• Windows updates, drivers, services, and deployment logs
• ATM, kiosk, or specialized Windows endpoint environments
