Systems Engineer - Integration & DeploymentDefenceBristol BasedSC Clearance Eligible Required must be British Nationals due to secure environmentWe're recruiting for a Systems Engineer to join a team delivering complex, multidisciplinary training systems within a highly secure environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys taking systems from concept through to integration, testing, and deployment. The role is focused on practical engineering and system integration rather than purely documentation-based systems engineering. What You'll Be Doing

• Translating system requirements and architectures into deployed, operational solutions.
• Supporting requirements, design, integration, verification, and testing activities across the full system lifecycle.
• Integrating and configuring hardware, software, operating systems, peripherals, and networking infrastructure.
• Performing system bring-up, installation, deployment, and commissioning activities.
• Executing system verification and validation testing.
• Diagnosing and resolving issues across hardware, software, and interfaces.
• Producing technical documentation to support deployment and operation of systems.
• Working on-site during integration and deployment phases to ensure successful delivery.

What We're Looking ForExperience in Systems Engineering, Systems Integration, Test & Integration, or a related engineering discipline. Experience working across the system lifecycle, including:

• Requirements
• Design
• Integration
• Test & Verification

Strong hands-on experience with:

• Hardware integration
• System configuration and deployment
• Networking
• OS and application installation
• Troubleshooting complex technical issues

Understanding of system-level behaviour, interfaces, and multidisciplinary engineering environments. Security RequirementsDue to the nature of the programme, applicants must:

• Be a British National
• Be eligible to obtain SC Clearance
• Be comfortable working within a secure environment
