Core Qualifications

• Strong C# / ASP.NET Core engineer (4+ years) with experience building AI-enabled features inside a service-oriented architecture using modern design patterns (Dependency Injection, Repository pattern, DTOs, typed HTTP clients).
• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs and AI services into .NET applications, preferably Azure OpenAI / Azure AI Services, including:
  • Prompt design and optimization
  • Function calling / tool calling via .NET SDKs
• Experience automating real business workflows using AI, including:
  • Wiring models into existing enterprise services
  • Triggering downstream actions and business processes
  • Orchestrating multi-step workflows (e.g., via Azure Service Bus, background jobs, or distributed job engines)
• Experience grounding AI systems on real enterprise data sources:
  • SQL Server / Entity Framework Core
  • Cosmos DB
  • Basic RAG implementations (embeddings + vector search for retrieval-augmented generation)
• Strong discipline around AI evaluation and reliability, including:
  • Testing prompts and multi-step chains
  • Measuring output accuracy and hallucination risk
  • Monitoring model behavior and quality in production environments
• Ability to build production-grade, maintainable AI systems—not prototypes or experimental demos

Nice to Have

• Experience with Semantic Kernel or similar .NET AI orchestration/agent frameworks
• Experience with Document AI / OCR pipelines, especially relevant for intake, claims, or document processing workflows
• Familiarity with Responsible AI principles, including PHI/PII handling, data privacy, and compliance considerations in regulated environments (e.g., healthcare/insurance/claims)
