Hours - Monday - Friday with a half-dayfinish on a Friday

We're looking for an Electronic Development Engineer / Systems Engineer to play a key role in the design, development and continuous improvement of sophisticated electro-mechanical products. This is an exciting opportunity to work across the full product lifecycle, from concept and prototyping through to production support, product enhancements and future new product introductions.
You'll join a collaborative engineering team where your ideas will genuinely help shape product roadmaps, improve customer outcomes and drive technical innovation. As a Product Development Engineer / Systems Engineer, you'll be the technical bridge between product development, manufacturing and customer support, helping to ensure products are reliable, high-performing and ready for future growth.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing and integrating complex electro-mechanical systems
- Identifying opportunities to improve product performance, reliability, quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Investigating and resolving electronic, mechanical and system-level issues.
- Supporting engineering change activities and product lifecycle management.
- Developing test methods and automated test systems to validate product performance.
- Leading product evaluation, prototyping and verification activities.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation, specifications and test reports.
- Contributing to the development of next-generation products and technologies.
- Working closely with manufacturing teams to improve build quality and production efficiency.
- Supporting customer and service teams with technical expertise and problem resolution.
- Monitoring industry developments, competitor technologies and market trends to help shape future product innovation.
We're keen to speak with engineers who enjoy combining practical engineering expertise with systems thinking and product development.
To succeed, you will ideally have the following skills & experience
- Degree qualified in Electronics Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related discipline.
- Experience developing, integrating or supporting complex electro-mechanical products
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills, with the ability to troubleshoot electronic systems to component level.
- Experience interpreting electronic schematics, technical drawings and engineering documentation.
- Experience developing and executing product testing, validation and verification activities.
- An understanding of digital and analogue electronics and embedded systems - ideal
