Quality Control Manager

Job Summary A heavy industrial construction and fabrication company is seeking an experienced Construction Quality Contr ol Manager to oversee quality assurance and quality contr ol programs across multiple construction projects. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with project specifications, leading quality inspections, and training teams to maintain high standards of safety and quality. Responsibilities - Develop and manage Quality Contr ol Plans for heavy industrial construction projects.

• Review construction specifications, contracts, and engineering drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Lead inspections, quality documentation, and project reporting activities.
• Review submittals, process RFIs, and coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and construction teams to resolve quality issues.
• Train and mentor project teams and Quality Contr ol Specialists on QA/QC procedures.
• Manage multiple projects while utilizing quality contr ol and project management software to track compliance. Requirements - 10-15+ years of Construction Quality Management experience in heavy industrial construction, depending on education.
• Experience managing quality programs across multiple projects simultaneously.
• OSHA 10/30, First Aid/CPR, and LEED certifications. (can recertify)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with QCS/RMS and project management software such as Primavera or Microsoft Project.
• Contractor Quality Management certification or the ability to obtain it.
• Strong leadership, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
