Level 1 Systems Administrator

Akkodis is seeking a Level 1 Junior Systems Administrator job with a client in Rochester, NY. Must hold a Bachelor degree in an IT related field to be considered. Will be handling incoming requests via phone, email, and chat, while delivering great customer experience. Will perform remote or onsite troubleshooting of Windows or Mac systems as well as determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers.
Salary Range: $18/Hr. to $28/Hr. The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Level 1 Junior Systems Administrator responsibilities include:
Front-Line Triage & Support: Diagnose and resolve Tier 1 technical issues via phone, email, live chat, and remote support tools.
Systems Administration: Assist with user onboarding/offboarding, password resets, permissions, and software deployment in Microsoft 365 and Active Directory/Entra ID environments.
Hardware & Network Triage: Troubleshoot desktop hardware, workstations, peripherals, basic local network issues (Wi-Fi, routers, switches), and printers.
Regional On-Site Dispatch: Drive the company car to client sites in Western NY for hardware setups, cable management, or hands-on troubleshooting as needed.
Ticket Management: Maintain clear, real-time ticket logs and document solutions in our internal knowledge base
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in IT Related field is required.
Minimum One years Related Experience.
Experience in Windows desktop OS skills (Windows
Experience in Windows Office application suite skills
Apple MacOS skills
: Windows (Server 2012/2016/2019/2022) is required
Network, UTM, Firewalls, Inter-intranet experience is required
MSO365 and Google Workspace are required.
Must hold a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
