Position Summary

At Firebolt Group, we are looking for a proactive and people-oriented Assembly Supervisor to guide our assembly team. In this role, you will be the driving force on the shop floor: ensuring our products are built to the highest quality standards while keeping your team motivated, safe, and working efficiently.

Reports to: Production Manager

Essential Job Functions

• Ensure Quality & Efficiency: Oversee the workflow on the assembly lines, resolving bottlenecks in real-time.
• Continuous Improvement: Propose and implement quick adjustments to make the work easier, safer, and faster.
• Safety Culture: Ensure everyone operates under the highest safety and housekeeping standards.
• Lead the Team: Coach, motivate, and organize assembly technicians and operators to meet daily production goals. Supervise all assembly room personnel and address personnel issues, policy violations and approve PTO and timecards.

Physical Activities and Demands

• This position is active at times and requires routine movement through the Wixom facility
• Prolonged times in a standing position
• The employee may lift items over 35 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Experience

• 3-5 years of manufacturing or production experience with continued increase responsibility
• Demonstrated experience balancing an assembly line to optimize efficiency and minimize bottlenecks.
• Proven experience setting up and organizing small build areas for lean manufacturing workflows.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Associate’s degree (Preferred)
