Job Description

Pharmacists dispense prescription medications and provide information to patients about the drugs and their use. They also advise physicians and other healthcare workers on the selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects of medications to treat health problems.

Pharmacist 

Each staff pharmacist is responsible for the preparation and dispensing of medications and pharmaceutical supplies for both inpatients and outpatients at a leading healthcare provider in Upstate New York.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

• At least 1+ years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
• Current NY state pharmacist license (or ability to obtain one).
• Ability to work on-site in Plattsburgh, NY.
• Willingness to work evening shifts.

Nice-To-Haves:

• Residency training experience.
• IV training experience.
• Retail pharmacy experience.
