We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to manage our highly reputed fresh food counter, a central hub in our customer-facing retail operations. You will be instrumental in upholding our commitment to exceptional quality, innovative product presentation, and outstanding customer service within a leading national grocery chain.

The Role

• Lead and mentor a dedicated team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Ensure the highest standards of product freshness, quality, and appealing presentation at the fresh food counter.
• Implement national sales concepts and drive sales through effective merchandising strategies and promotional activities.
• Oversee inventory management, pricing, waste reduction, and the overall flow of goods.
• Uphold strict hygiene and safety regulations to maintain a pristine and compliant operational environment.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, offering expert advice and building strong customer relationships.

What You'll Need

• Completed vocational training, preferably in food retail, or equivalent experience in a similar role (e.g., bakery or fresh food counter management).
• Proven experience in managing a team and a strong understanding of fresh product management.
• In-depth knowledge of fresh products, with a keen eye for quality and presentation.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for customer satisfaction.
• A proactive and results-oriented approach to tasks and team leadership.
