Job Description/ Responsibilities
• Lead administration and support of Windows Server environments (2012/2016/2019/2022).
• Administer Hyper-V hosts and failover clusters, SCVMM and host-level storage/network integration
• Provision and decommission virtual machines; manage checkpoints, live migration and host patching
• Resolve host and VM availability/performance incidents; take part in RCA
• Execute approved upgrades and changes; maintain runbooks and CMDB
• Administer RHEL, SUSE, Oracle Linux and Ubuntu servers: build, configure, decommission and harden
• Resolve L2/L3 incidents (~138 Linux tickets/month baseline) and requests within SLR
• Execute OS patching and kernel upgrades within security SLAs; report compliance
• Manage LVM, file systems, NFS, user/sudo management, cron and system services
• Automate routine operations with Bash/Python/Ansible; contribute to SRE toil reduction
• Take part in RCA, change planning and capacity reviews; maintain runbooks and CMDB
