Forward Deployed Engineer Frontier AI DC, Onsite

The opportunity

Work directly with customers to solve challenging technical problems using cutting-edge AI
Build and deploy production software, APIs, integrations, and AI-powered applications
Own implementations end-to-end, from technical discovery and prototyping through deployment
Collaborate with engineering, research, and product teams to turn emerging AI capabilities into real-world solutions

What we're looking for

4+ years of software engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering, or Solutions Engineering experience
Strong Python skills and experience with another language such as TypeScript, Go, Java, or C++
Experience building production-grade software, APIs, and backend services
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes, and distributed systems
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity
Comfortable working directly with customers and shipping reliable software quickly

Bonus: Experience deploying AI/LLM applications, working at a high-growth startup, or building in technically complex environments.
