QA Lead - Onsite

Genesis10 is currently seeking a QA Lead for an Onsite position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Hopewell, NJ or Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

We are looking for a skilled test engineer to design and implement quality-check procedures for our applications. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing application features, designing test parameters, and creating and executing automated test cases using various testing tools. This role takes full responsibility for ensuring that developed applications meet high-quality standards and expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement quality-check procedures for applications
• Analyze application features and design test parameters
• Create automated test cases and manage execution using testing tools
• Ensure developed applications and accelerators meet high-quality standards

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a QA Lead or Test Engineer
• Experience with Java (Spring Boot), Python, and SQL
• Knowledge of Oracle and MongoDb databases
• Experience with REST/GraphQL testing, pagination, retries, and backoff
• Familiarity with contract testing with Pact and OpenAPI/Swagger validation
• Experience with CDC/event validation (Kafka, Schema Registry), and DLQ handling
• Proficiency with Jira
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a similar field

Desired skills:

• Working knowledge of SQL Server or MySQL databases
• Experience in the financial industry is a plus

Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
