Job Description

American Honda Motor Co., Inc. seeks a Customs Administrator to manage day-to-day import/export activities supporting our U.S. manufacturing and distribution network. You will prepare and review customs documentation, maintain accurate HTS classifications, and ensure compliance with U.S. customs and trade regulations. Partnering with brokers, carriers, and internal logistics, you will monitor shipments, resolve holds, and reduce delays and duty exposure. In Honda's innovation-driven, teamwork-focused culture, you'll help improve processes, support audits, and contribute to safe, efficient global supply flows.

Responsibilities

  • Manage import/export documentation and filings for Honda products and materials
  • Ensure compliance with U.
  • S. customs, trade regulations, and free trade agreements
  • Coordinate with brokers, freight forwarders, and internal logistics teams
  • Monitor shipments, resolve customs holds, and minimize clearance delays
  • Maintain accurate HTS classifications, valuation, and country-of-origin data
  • Audit customs records and support internal/external compliance reviews
  • Identify process improvements to reduce duty exposure and logistics costs
  • Prepare customs reports, metrics, and maintain up-to-date procedures
