Mainframe Developer

Location: Onsite USA

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Mainframe Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing requirements, designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting enterprise mainframe applications. The role requires strong technical expertise in mainframe technologies, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in both enhancement projects and production support environments.

Required Skills:

• 5-8 years of hands on experience in Mainframe application development and support.
• Strong expertise in: COBOL/JCL/VSAM/DB2/CICS/NATURAL
• Experience with Mainframe development and support tools:
• ISPW/File Aid/CA7/Expeditor
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible to work in both application enhancement and production support activities.
• Self motivated with a passion for continuous learning and adopting new technologies.
• Positive attitude with strong ownership and accountability.

Good to have:

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and modern software delivery methodologies is a plus.
• Experience in automotive, manufacturing, or enterprise application domains is desirable.
