Software Engineering Manager / eCommerce / .NET / Typescript

A global technology-driven industrial organization is seeking a full-time Engineering Manager to join its leadership team in Downers Grove, Illinois. This position will lead the development and delivery of enterprise applications, digital commerce platforms, cloud-native solutions, AI-enabled products, and integration services. The environment leverages modern technologies including .NET, C#, Node.js, React, Azure, Kubernetes, Kafka, GraphQL, SQL Server, NoSQL databases, and microservices architectures.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of software development experience
• 5+ years managing software engineering teams
• Strong experience with .NET/C#, Node.js, and React
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
• Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, and distributed systems
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized applications

Desired Skills & Experience

• Industrial, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain technology experience
• Large-scale B2B and B2C eCommerce background
• Event-driven architecture expertise using Kafka, Event Hub, or Service Bus
• AI enablement and AI-assisted software delivery experience
• Experience managing global or offshore engineering teams
• Mobile development exposure
