Job Title: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Cloud Architect

Location: BROADWAY, NY (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:

• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Proficiency in OCI is mandatory, with strong expertise in OCI services, architecture, governance, frameworks, standards, and best practices.
• Extensive experience designing cloud and hybrid-cloud architectures.
• Strong experience with hybrid infrastructure, including integration between on-premises and cloud environments.
• Experience with cloud networking, including network and VLAN configuration.
• Experience with cloud DevOps, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Experience with cloud security and secure architecture design.
• Experience with cloud servers and environments, including configuration, patching, backups, system monitoring, and alerts.
• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture patterns, standards, governance, and best practices.
• Experience developing architecture documentation using Visio or Abacus.
• Experience with Oracle database technologies, including Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, GoldenGate, RMAN, and database licensing.
• Experience with Oracle cloud database platforms, including Exadata, ExaCC, ExaDB-D, Exascale, DBaaS, and OEM.
• Experience designing High Availability, Disaster Recovery, and Multi-Cloud architectures.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and API/CLI automation.
• Experience with SRE and DevOps practices, including monitoring, observability, SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs.
• Strong ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, engineers, and technical teams to translate requirements into enterprise cloud architectures.
• Strong understanding of on-premises infrastructure to support hybrid integration and migration initiatives.
• Proficiency with AI concepts and technologies.

• Current Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect Professional or Architect Associate certification is strongly preferred. Certification credentials should be submitted when available.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with Cloud FinOps, cost optimization, and cloud financial governance.
• Experience with Linux administration or network administration.
• Experience supporting multi-cloud architecture initiatives.
• Experience assessing product architecture, product roadmaps, and technology roadmaps.

• Design and develop OCI-focused cloud architectures aligned with organizational business and technical requirements.
• Establish OCI architecture standards, frameworks, governance models, and best practices.
• Develop scalable, secure, highly available, and resilient cloud and hybrid-cloud solutions.
• Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into architecture solutions.
• Guide engineering teams and provide architectural direction where required.
• Support cloud migration and hybrid integration initiatives.
• Design and evaluate cloud networking and infrastructure architectures.
• Develop and expand Infrastructure-as-Code capabilities using Terraform, Ansible, and API/CLI automation.
• Design High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Evaluate Oracle database infrastructure and platforms, including RAC, ASM, Data Guard, GoldenGate, RMAN, Exadata, ExaCC, ExaDB-D, Exascale, DBaaS, and OEM.
• Define and implement cloud security architecture and governance.
• Support SRE and DevOps practices, including monitoring, observability, and SLA/SLO/SLI management.
• Contribute to FinOps and cloud cost optimization initiatives.
• Assess product architecture, technology roadmaps, and future-state architecture requirements.
• Create and maintain architecture documentation using Visio or Abacus.
• Support multi-cloud architecture initiatives involving OCI, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Leverage AI capabilities where appropriate to improve cloud architecture, automation, operations, and engineering practices.
