AWS Systems Engineer with Security Clearance

Position Title: AWS Systems Engineer Location: Washington, DC Clearance Requirements: Public Trust Pay Rate: Up to $180,000

Position Description: We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Systems Engineer to support a critical federal cloud modernization initiative. This hands-on role demands expertise in designing, deploying, and maintaining secure, scalable AWS environments for mission-critical enterprise workloads. You will develop cloud infrastructure, lead migration activities, and collaborate across technical teams to implement innovative solutions that meet compliance and security standards. Top Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in enterprise IT systems design, implementation, and support - At least 5 years of hands-on AWS engineering and architecture experience, including deploying, configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting AWS solutions - Strong knowledge of core AWS services: EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, EBS/EFS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, KMS, and backup/disaster recovery - Experience with cloud migration, modernization, and managing multi-account AWS environments - Proven ability to support hybrid, secured, and restricted infrastructure environments - Bachelor's Degree in a related field - US Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance About Seneca Resources At Seneca Resources, we are more than just a staffing and consulting firm, we are a trusted career partner.
