Role Overview
We are seeking experienced Tier II Technicians to support a large-scale hospital migration project. This role will serve as a senior technical resource during the phased relocation of IT equipment and end-user devices across the hospital campus. The Tier II Technician will be responsible for advanced troubleshooting, deployment support, asset validation, and technical quality assurance. This individual will work closely with Lead Technicians and Project Management to resolve technical issues, ensure migration readiness, and support Tier I technicians throughout the deployment process.

Tier 2 Help Desk
Location: Memphis, Tennessee (Onsite)
Role Overview
We are seeking experienced Tier II Technicians to support a large-scale hospital migration project. This role will serve as a senior technical resource during the phased relocation of IT equipment and end-user devices across the hospital campus. The Tier II Technician will be responsible for advanced troubleshooting, deployment support, asset validation, and technical quality assurance. This individual will work closely with Lead Technicians and Project Management to resolve technical issues, ensure migration readiness, and support Tier I technicians throughout the deployment process.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and validate desktop-level IT equipment, including PCs, workstations, printers, scanners, monitors, and peripherals.
- Support hardware replacement, relocation, and deployment activities.
- Troubleshoot hardware, connectivity, and peripheral issues during migration events.
- Serve as the primary technical escalation point for Tier I Technicians.
- Diagnose and resolve workstation, printer, and peripheral issues.
- Perform deployment validation and post-move testing to ensure operational readiness.
- Support inventory management, validate asset tags, and assist with reporting for project tracking systems.
- Provide guidance and technical mentorship to Tier I Technicians.
- Work within a phased migration schedule and adapt to changing priorities.
- 3+ years of experience in desktop support, field services, deployment projects, or endpoint services.
- Experience troubleshooting Windows-based desktop and peripheral hardware issues.
- Understanding of workstation deployments, hardware installation, and device migration processes.
- Experience supporting large-scale technology refresh, relocation, or migration initiatives.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Experience supporting healthcare, hospital, or enterprise-scale IT environments.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or other IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms.
- Experience with asset management, inventory control, and device lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, device provisioning, and endpoint support processes.
- Previous experience working in project-based deployment or migration environments.
- Must be able to work on-site at the client campus.
- Must be flexible with shift schedules, including potential afternoon or second-shift assignments.
- Ability to lift, transport, and install IT hardware.
- Ability to work throughout multiple hospital floors and active healthcare environments.
