Engineering Lead

About the Role

Lead a hands-on engineering team building an AI context platform for a collaborative data analytics product. The team is developing tools that help users understand, improve, and iterate on the context used by AI agents, supporting more reliable outcomes for analytical work.

What You'll Do

• Lead the engineering team responsible for the context platform.

• Set technical strategy, review designs, and contribute directly to implementation.

• Manage and support engineers, set a high bar, and help the team do its best work.

• Recruit and develop strong engineering talent.

• Guide work on debugging agent reasoning, structuring business context, and balancing human input with automated improvement.

• Help integrate the context layer with AI-powered tools and workflows.

What We're Looking For

• At least 6 years of full-stack software engineering experience, including 2 or more years as an engineering manager.

• Experience managing a team of 3 to 15 engineers and leading engineering for a technical product.

• Recent, hands-on experience building an agentic or AI-native product.

• Proficiency in TypeScript; experience with React, Postgres, and Python is valuable.

• Experience in a high-growth startup and with products for technical users, such as data tools or developer tooling.

• Strong computer science fundamentals, through a degree or equivalent technical experience.

• Experience in a full-time role and a record of sustained tenure in previous roles.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $221,000 to $295,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available. Equity details were not provided.
