Pricing Actuary - nearly/newly qualified

The Role
Key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering pricing and profitability analysis across casualty classes
• Supporting the development, enhancement and calibration of pricing models and tools
• Monitoring portfolio performance and identifying opportunities for profitable growth
• Working closely with underwriting teams to provide pricing insight and challenge
• Contributing to rate change analysis, business planning and performance reporting
• Supporting pricing governance, validation and model documentation activities
• Collaborating with actuarial, exposure management and finance teams on cross-functional initiatives

About You
We are keen to speak with candidates who have:

• Experience within general insurance pricing, ideally with exposure to casualty business
• Strong analytical and modelling capabilities
• Progression towards actuarial qualification, or recent qualification
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with underwriters and senior stakeholders
• Experience working with large datasets and actuarial modelling tools
• A commercial mindset and an interest in understanding the drivers of portfolio performance
