The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced and qualified project managers who ideally has a Building Services Engineering qualification HNC, HND or Degree. However, candidates who do not have these qualifications may be considered for this role based on previous on-site experience.

Working within the Operations Department at DL will give you the opportunity to manage projects up to the value of £3million. You will manage your own time and you will work alongside some highly experienced and qualified members of the operations team.As the organisation continues to expand there will be the potential for professional growth within the organisation and the opportunity for Continuous Professional Development (CPD).

Mechanical Project Manager main duties and requirements:

Applicants must have at least 3 5 years project management experience and an overall knowledge of the mechanical building engineering services sector, i.e. knowledge of HVAC systems, domestic & commercial plumbing, commercial pipefitting and chiller replacements, plus a strong history of managing large scale projects between the values of £500k-£3milllon.

A demonstrable history of asset procurement, cost management and reporting skills is required and you must have experience maintaining on-site health and safety requirements and quality assurance.

You will be required to participate in both internal and external meetings with clients and business associates, therefore professional presentation skills are essential.

Travel throughout the U.K. will be required, and overnight stays on occasions.
