Position: Oracle AHCS / Fusion GL Functional SME (Hybrid)

Location: Chicago, IL (local only)

Duration : 6 months

 

Job Description: 

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Accounting Hub Cloud Service (AHCS) / Oracle Fusion GL Functional SME to support a large-scale Finance Transformation initiative.

This is a senior functional role for someone who can work directly with Finance, Controllers, Accounting Policy, and IT to design accounting solutions, configure Oracle, and translate complex accounting requirements into practical system solutions.

What we're looking for:

·       8+ years of Oracle Financials experience with 5+ years of hands-on Oracle AHCS experience

·       Strong Oracle Fusion GL experience, including Enterprise Structures, Chart of Accounts, Ledgers, Legal Entities, Business Units, Intercompany, Allocations, Revaluation, and Financial Close

·       Hands-on experience designing and configuring Event-Based Accounting and Pass-Through Accounting

·       Experience with accounting rules, account derivation, journal generation, source-system mappings, and reconciliation

·       Experience integrating multiple source systems into Oracle Accounting Hub

·       Strong understanding of accounting and financial processes, with the ability to work directly with Finance and Controllers

·       Experience with OTBI, FDI, Smart View, and financial reporting

·       Banking or Financial Services experience is highly preferred

·       Experience supporting requirements, solution design, configuration, SIT/UAT, deployment, and production support

Requirements added by the job poster
