Job Description

POSRG is seeking a Field Technician to install, configure, and service point-of-sale and related IT hardware at customer locations. In this role, you will deploy and troubleshoot POS systems, peripherals, and network-connected devices, perform repairs and preventive maintenance, and document all work in service systems. You will collaborate closely with logistics, project managers, and customer support to ensure on-time installations and minimal downtime for retail and hospitality clients. This position offers hands-on learning with POS technology, IT lifecycle services, and clear paths for professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Install and configure POS and related IT hardware at customer sites
  • Troubleshoot and repair POS terminals, peripherals, and network-connected devices
  • Perform preventive maintenance and hardware upgrades on POS equipment
  • Document service activities, parts used, and resolutions in ticketing systems
  • Collaborate with logistics and project teams to support deployments and rollouts
  • Follow customer and company standards for quality, security, and safety
