Role Overview
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to support cybersecurity initiatives within a Security Operations and Vulnerability Management organization. This role is ideal for a highly organized, proactive professional who can drive multiple complex initiatives simultaneously. You will partner closely with security leaders, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure critical cybersecurity programs remain aligned, on track, and successfully delivered. This position emphasizes dependency management, stakeholder communication, and operational execution.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate cybersecurity initiatives across Security Operations, Vulnerability Management, Application Security, Infrastructure Security, and Offensive Security teams.
- Manage project plans, timelines, dependencies, risks, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
- Partner with leadership and technical teams to drive alignment, remove blockers, and maintain momentum across multiple workstreams.
- Maintain project visibility and reporting through Jira, Confluence, and established governance processes.
- Ensure initiatives adhere to organizational project management standards and reporting requirements.
- Facilitate collaboration between technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.
- Track key milestones, action items, and program metrics to support informed decision-making.
- Support Agile and Kanban-based delivery practices, focusing on workflow management and continuous progress.
- Proactively manage risks and impediments by identifying potential impacts and mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate executive stakeholder readouts, delivering clear progress updates.
- 5+ years of project or program management experience, preferably supporting cybersecurity, information security, or technology organizations.
- Experience managing security operations, vulnerability management, infrastructure security, application security, or related initiatives.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Kanban methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency with Jira and Confluence.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and dependencies simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
- Experience working within established PMO or EPMO governance frameworks.
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently and drive initiatives forward with minimal oversight.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Experience supporting cybersecurity or technology risk organizations.
- Familiarity with vulnerability management, offensive security, penetration testing, or security operations processes.
- Experience working with technical leadership in highly regulated or enterprise-scale environments.
- SAFe Scrum Master certification or equivalent Agile certifications.
- Jira Product Discovery (JPD) experience is a plus.
