Job Description

Project Location would be Boston, MA; Atlanta, GA / SFO, CA

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer (SDE) to join our US-based engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying robust, scalable software applications using modern technologies. You will work in agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet complex business requirements while adhering to best practices in code quality, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web and mobile applications using Java, .NET, Angular, ReactJS, and related frameworks.
  • Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to define requirements, deliver features, and ensure seamless integration.
  • Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code following industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Optimize application performance, reduce latency, and improve system scalability and reliability.
  • Refactor legacy codebases and modernize outdated systems using migration and upgrade strategies.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes for automated testing, deployment, and environment management.
  • Participate in code reviews, peer programming, and technical design sessions.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues with a focus on root cause analysis (RCA) and preventive measures.
  • Ensure application security through regular scanning (e.g., Fortify, SonarQube), secure coding practices, and compliance with ISO 27001/27701.
  • Contribute to documentation, SOPs, and knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Support end-to-end SRE practices including monitoring (Grafana, Dynatrace), alerting, incident response, and 24x5 on-call support when needed.
  • Leverage AI-powered development tools like AiDE for rapid prototyping, automated testing, and impact-based testing.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of professional experience in full-stack or backend software development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • Backend: Java, .NET, .NET Core, Spring Boot, Web API
    • Frontend: Angular, ReactJS, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
    • Databases: Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle
    • DevOps Tools: Azure DevOps, Git, Docker, Terraform, Jenkins
  • Experience in building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and collaborative development workflows.
  • Understanding of security best practices, compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, ISO 27701), and data privacy standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a remote or hybrid US-based team environment.
