Senior Tax Manager - Business and Individual Tax

Location: Columbus, OH
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000 to $170,000 per year

Lead complex tax engagements for businesses and individuals, advise owners directly, and help grow the team and the firm.

Must-Haves

• Active CPA license
• 8+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• Expertise in federal, state, and local tax compliance and planning
• Proven business development and client relationship success
• Track record of developing and retaining professional staff
• Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills

What You’ll Do

• Deliver tax compliance, planning, and advisory services for business and individual clients
• Review complex federal, state, and local returns and workpapers
• Serve as a strategic advisor to business owners and executives
• Manage engagement staffing, budgets, timelines, and profitability
• Drive business development through networking and proposals
• Supervise and mentor Managers, Seniors, and Staff
• Stay current on tax law changes and industry trends

Nice-to-Haves

• Master’s degree in Taxation or Accounting
• Experience with closely held or owner-managed businesses
• Pass-through entity and high-net-worth individual tax experience
