Linux System Admin

We are looking for Linux system admin with expertise in Network Management & Compliance and Data Center Hardware knowledge

Technical Skills:

Ø 5+ years of experience as a Linux System admin

Ø Security and Compliance: Enforce security policies, manage user permissions, configure firewalls, and perform system hardening.

Ø System Monitoring: Track server performance, analyze resource consumption, and resolve hardware or network bottlenecks.

Ø Oversee network hardware lifecycle management, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points, alongside End-of-Life/End-of-Support (EOL/EOS) mitigation planning.

Ø Hardware Lifecycle & Break-Fix: Perform diagnostics, component-level replacements (RAM, hard drives/NVMe, CPUs, power supplies, motherboard components)

Ø Physical Infrastructure Management: Configure and maintain core routing, switching, and hardware firewalls

Ø Racking, Stacking, & Cabling: Rack, stack, cable, Virtual LAN configuration and label new servers, switches, and storage arrays following structured cabling and data center standards

Ø Ability to independently deploy new stacks and admin existing ones

Ø Strong Linux background.

Ø Overall system admin

Ø Networking, storage and Compute management

Ø IP Networking in physical and virtual environment

Process Skills:

Ø Work with the team leads to resolve project roadblocks

Ø Proactively identify and eliminate impediments

Ø Supports product owner(s) with intra-team dynamics with respect to priorities and scope

Behavioral Skills:

Ø Strong problem solving, communication, and team working skills

Certification:

·        Certification from RedHat or equivalent
