Technical Advisory Manager

• • Lead or support technology advisory engagements assessing applications, data, platforms, and operating models
• • Develop pragmatic technology transformation roadmaps
• • Translate strategic objectives into actionable initiatives considering organisational readiness, constraints, and risk
• • Contribute to business cases, investment proposals, and phased delivery plans
• • Support executive and senior leadership conversations with insights, options, and recommendations
• • Connect client needs to Avanade's solution portfolio with delivery and solution teams
• • Collaborate with Microsoft account teams and internal stakeholders to identify and shape opportunities
• • Manage and mentor consultants and senior consultants
• • Contribute to internal capability building, asset development, and knowledge sharing

Requirements

• 7+ years of information technology experience in enterprise applications, modernisation and/or integration
• 3+ years of hands on experience with cloud technologies and implementation
• Experience with at least two of Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google, public cloud, private cloud, hybrid cloud, IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS
• Extensive knowledge of professional services and complex client issues supporting cloud strategies
• Experience planning and implementing cloud architectures for critical business systems
• Extensive knowledge of the end to end value chain of IT applications and infrastructure
• Deep understanding of emerging technology trends and commercial offerings
• Aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis and synthesising complex data into insights
• Typically 6-10 years' experience in technology advisory, digital transformation, architecture, or related consulting roles
• Experience with technology led transformation initiatives including AI adoption, data platforms, operating models, applications modernisation, and cloud transformation
• Ability to engage senior client stakeholders and communicate with technical and non technical audiences
• Experience contributing to roadmaps, business cases, or transformation plans leading into delivery
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and storytelling skills
• Experience working with delivery teams to ensure recommendations are practical and implementable
• Emerging people leadership experience, including mentoring or managing junior team members
