FinXL is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our Network Engineering consulting practice. In this engagement, you will initially be deployed with an Enterprise Banking organisation on a high-profile transformation and network deployment project.

Responsibility

• Configure, deploy, and maintain Cisco switches, routers, and FTD firewalls.

• Perform network migrations, implementations, and setup of new equipment.

• Conduct WiFi surveys and deploy Cisco wireless infrastructure across new sites.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network performance and connectivity issues.

• Review, interpret, and implement minor changes to network architecture designs.

• Maintain comprehensive network documentation and technical standards.

• Travel occasionally to regional sites and data centres for device racking.

Key Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years' experience in enterprise network engineering and support.

• Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco routing, switching, and wireless solutions.

• Proven experience configuring and troubleshooting Firewalls (ideally Cisco FTD).

• Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and network security principles.

• Valid industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Aruba).

• Willingness to travel to customer sites (White Card is highly advantageous).

• Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
