Satellite Systems Engineer with Security Clearance

About the Role Join the Space Force as a Satellite Systems Engineer supporting critical national security space programs. In this Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) role, you will provide expert technical guidance on satellite design, integration, and operations. This is an opportunity to work on advanced space systems that directly support our nation's defense and intelligence missions. Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in satellite or space systems engineering
• 4+ years of experience supporting government programs
• Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related STEM discipline

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Intelligence Community, Space Force, DoD, or national security space programs
• Experience supporting Government Program Offices or SETA organizations
• Knowledge of satellite subsystems including attitude determination and control, power, propulsion, communications, thermal, and command and data handling
• Experience with system integration and test activities, verification and validation efforts, and technical review boards
• Experience implementing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies using SysML and tools such as Cameo
