Job Description

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provides oversight and leadership for assigned departments and functions within Administrative Services.
  • Supervises, trains, develops, and supports assigned staff to promote effective performance and consistent practices across the organization.
  • Oversees purchasing operations, vendor relationships, procurement processes, and related compliance requirements.
  • Oversees transportation and fleet operations, including driver operations, routing, contracted transportation services, vehicle maintenance, safety, training, and regulatory compliance.
  • Provides leadership, training, and operational support for Program Assistance services throughout the agency.
  • Reviews departmental operations and identifies opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, service delivery, and resource utilization.
  • Ensures assigned areas operate in accordance with agency policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborates with agency leadership, departments, programs, vendors, and other stakeholders to address operational needs and organizational priorities.
  • Coordinates Administrative Services projects and initiatives as assigned by the Vice President of Administrative Services..

Role Requirements:

· High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, management, transportation, logistics, or a related field preferred.

· 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in administrative operations, transportation, purchasing, logistics, or a related field.

· Supervisory or management experience preferred.

· Knowledge of transportation operations, fleet management, DOT and DMV requirements, and applicable safety practices.

·         Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

·         Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

·         Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across departments.

·         Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.

·         Valid New York State Driver’s License.

·         Ability to respond to operational emergencies outside of regular business hours when necessary.

SALARY 66,300 -71,400
