Network Engineer- Senior

Senior Network Engineer with active TS/SCI with Polygraph to design, secure, and maintain complex federal networks. Role includes TCP/IP and routing design, LAN/WAN, VPN, SD-WAN and VoIP O&M, implementing INFOSEC/COMSEC controls, managing Cisco IOS-based infrastructure, supporting RF and spectrum needs, troubleshooting performance issues, and mentoring junior engineers in a mission-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer secure TCP/IP transport, routing, and advanced virtual networking solutions.
• Perform network upgrades and ongoing operations and maintenance for LAN, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, and Vo
• IP.
• Implement INFOSEC and COMSEC requirements, firewalls, and VPN-based perimeter security.
• Apply configuration management practices to manage and document network systems and changes.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network performance and availability issues.
• Configure and manage Cisco IOS-based switching, routing, and segment routing technologies.
• Support RF and spectrum engineering requirements within the broader network environment.
• Collaborate with and mentor junior engineers on networking best practices and project tasks.
