We re growing, and we re looking for an ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join our team and take ownership of a brand-new Industrial start-up desk.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants more than simply working an existing database. You ll have the opportunity to build your own client base, develop your own candidates, win new business and grow the desk from the ground up.
The Role As an Industrial Recruitment Consultant, you ll be responsible for developing and growing a successful industrial recruitment desk.
Your role will include:

• Developing new and existing client relationships
• Winning new industrial recruitment business
• Identifying and contacting prospective clients
• Advertising vacancies and sourcing suitable candidates
• Conducting candidate interviews and registrations
• Managing temporary workers and client requirements
• Building and maintaining a strong candidate database
• Negotiating rates and terms with clients
• Working closely with clients to understand their recruitment requirements
• Developing long-term relationships with both candidates and clients
• Growing your desk and taking responsibility for its overall performance

What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is driven, confident and commercially minded, with a genuine desire to succeed in recruitment.
Previous recruitment experience would be advantageous, particularly within industrial, manufacturing, logistics or warehouse recruitment, but we're also open to ambitious consultants from other recruitment sectors who want a new challenge.
You'll ideally have:

• Recruitment experience within a sales-driven environment
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A confident telephone manner
• The ability to develop new business
• A target-driven and self-motivated approach
• Strong organisational skills
• The ambition to build and grow your own desk
• A professional and positive attitude
