Clinical Pastoral Education Supervisor

• Location: Nashville, TN
• Facility: Ascension Saint Thomas West
• Department: Pastoral Spiritual Care
• Schedule: Day Shift l Full-time

• Design and lead Level I and Level II CPE programs that exceed ACPE standards while aligning with our mission and institutional goals.
• Manage the full lifecycle of the student experience, from recruitment and screening to hands-on clinical supervision and performance evaluation.
• Collaborate with the chaplaincy team to provide direct pastoral care, including counseling, religious rites, and guidance on complex biomedical ethics.
• Maintain all essential CPE records, library resources, and departmental policies to ensure continuous accreditation and educational excellence.
• Coordinate daily spiritual care services and provide strategic leadership to the department in alignment with clinical priorities.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Chaplain obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Master's degree in Divinity, Theology, Pastoral Studies or related field is required.

Additional Preferences:

• 1 year of experience required.
• Must have ACPE National Faculty credentials.
