Job Description
A leading global alternative investment manager is seeking an Analyst or Associate to join its Private Credit team in New York. This role offers the opportunity to work on customized financing solutions for upper middle market and large-cap businesses, partnering with private equity sponsors and management teams across a broad range of industries.
The team is an active investor across senior secured direct lending, unitranche facilities, junior capital, mezzanine debt, and other structured credit opportunities. With significant assets under management and a longstanding track record, the platform is one of the most established and active participants in the private credit market.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and underwrite private credit investment opportunities
- Build and analyze financial models, cash flow forecasts, and capital structure analyses
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence, including company, industry, and management assessments
- Prepare investment memoranda and materials for internal approval processes
- Support transaction execution and deal structuring efforts
- Monitor portfolio company performance and identify additional financing opportunities
- Work closely with senior investment professionals throughout the investment lifecycle

Qualifications
Analyst
- 1-3 years of experience in Investment Banking, Leveraged Finance, Restructuring, Financial Sponsors, Corporate Banking, or a related field
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and work ethic
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Associate
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking, Private Credit, Direct Lending, Leveraged Finance, Restructuring, or another investing/lending role
- Experience evaluating and executing financing transactions
- Strong credit and investment underwriting capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and interact with senior stakeholders
