About the roleAs National Professional Services Manager, you will lead a team of four Professional Services Pharmacists and drive the development, implementation, and growth of professional services across the IPA network. You will work closely with member pharmacies to optimise pharmacy practice, increase the uptake of professional services, and maximise available remuneration opportunities through effective program execution. Through strong leadership, coaching, and stakeholder engagement, you will support pharmacies in delivering measurable improvements in business performance, operational excellence, and patient care. This is a highly visible leadership role that combines people leadership, strategy, and execution, with a clear focus on helping independent pharmacies thrive in an evolving healthcare landscape.
Role and Responsibilities- Lead, coach and develop a team of four Professional Services Pharmacists, fostering a high performing, member focused culture.
- Support independent pharmacies to grow professional services revenue through clinical programs, care plans, 8CPA initiatives, and emerging healthcare opportunities.
- Drive the Catalyst Enhanced Professional Services Program, helping pharmacies evolve from a dispensing focused model to structured clinical care delivery.
- Conduct pharmacy visits, health checks, and business reviews to identify operational improvements, revenue opportunities, and sustainable growth initiatives.
- Develop and deliver training programs, tools, and resources that build capability and support best practice pharmacy operations.
- Drive adoption of key IPA programs and platforms.
- Registered Pharmacist with current AHPRA registration and strong community pharmacy experience.
- Proven people leadership experience, with the ability to coach and develop high performing teams.
- Experience implementing and driving professional services programs that deliver measurable outcomes.
- Strong understanding of 8CPA programs, pharmacy operations, and the evolving scope of pharmacist practice.
- A proactive, forward thinking leader who can identify opportunities, drive change, and execute effectively.
- Commercially astute with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Hands on, practical, and passionate about supporting independent pharmacies through a member first mindset.
