Dev Ops Engineer II

An enterprise technology team is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support critical network, Linux, server, and DOCSIS infrastructure. You'll troubleshoot production environments, improve monitoring, support deployments, and help maintain reliable systems across a complex telecommunications technology landscape.
This role is a strong fit for an infrastructure professional who enjoys working through challenging production issues and learning how large-scale network systems operate. The position also offers hands-on exposure to automation, cloud infrastructure, container technologies, and collaboration with network, systems, QA, and software engineering teams.

Required Skills & Experience
2-6 years of experience in network engineering, systems engineering, IT operations, or a related field
Strong networking skills with technologies such as Cisco or Juniper
Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting experience
Experience diagnosing and resolving production infrastructure or software issues
Experience supporting deployment, maintenance, monitoring, or release-readiness activities

Desired Skills & Experience
Experience supporting vCMTS, DOCSIS, telecommunications, or similar production environments
Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
Scripting or programming experience
Familiarity with Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or other automation tools
Experience with Jenkins, GitHub, or continuous integration practices

Support production network, server, and DOCSIS systems
