SEN / SEND Tutor | Market Drayton, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

The Role

• Provide in-person, online, or hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5, tailoring flexible and trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring to their specific learning requirements.
• Plan and deliver engaging sessions, providing regular feedback on student progress to local authorities and schools.
• Focus on raising the standard of education for vulnerable learners, including those with MLD, SLD, and PMLD.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• Minimum of 2 years' teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed) and a strong understanding of safeguarding principles.
• Right to work in the UK.
