The Role

• Take ultimate responsibility for safeguarding within the school environment.
• Liaise with statutory and non-statutory agencies, parents/carers, and staff on child protection and safeguarding matters.
• Act as a key source of support, advice, and expertise for the team regarding safeguarding.
• Collaborate with other members of the wider group's team to share knowledge and foster development.
• Work as a vital part of the leadership team, reporting directly to the Head Teacher.

What You'll Need

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a Designated Safeguarding Lead role.
• A comprehensive portfolio of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) related to Safeguarding and Child Protection.
• Outstanding interpersonal and problem-resolution skills.
• A genuinely empathetic and proactive approach to safeguarding.
• A full UK driving licence.
