Sales Manager – Chemical Distribution

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join a growing chemical distribution company. This is a hands-on leadership role that involves working closely with company ownership, mentoring and developing junior sales representatives, building credibility with senior sales professionals, maintaining strong profit margins, and progressively taking on greater sales leadership responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

- 5–10 years of experience in chemical distribution sales (required).
- Previous experience in sales leadership, team management, or mentoring sales professionals.
- Strong understanding of gross profit, pricing strategies, margin management, and overall profitability.
- Demonstrated success in business development, customer relationship management, and closing sales.
- Based in or near Chino, the Inland Empire, or Southern California, or willing to relocate.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, privately owned business environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in specialty or industrial chemical distribution.
- Established relationships within the chemical, industrial, manufacturing, or distribution sectors.
- Experience managing incentive-driven sales teams and expanding sales territories.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor both senior and junior sales representatives.
