Gp Vacancy - Whitsunday Region Queensland

GP2Oz is seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Practitioner to join an established team in the beautiful Whitsunday Region of Queensland. This is a full time position, based in Proserpine, with the opportunity for working at the local hospital too. You will provide high quality primary health care services to a diverse patient population. You will work closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive and patient centered care. This practice is fully equipped with modern facilities and technology to support your practice and provide the best possible care to their patients.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Conducting consultations and assessments for a range of acute and chronic health conditions
• Providing appropriate treatment and management plans for patients
• Educating and empowering patients to take an active role in their health and well being
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care for patients
• Maintaining accurate and up to date patient records
• Participating in quality improvement activities and clinical audits
• Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or the ability to gain this
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A strong commitment to providing high quality, patient centered care
• The ability to work effectively in a team environment
• A positive and proactive attitude towards continuous learning and professional development.
