This is an opportunity to work closely with business stakeholders to review existing operational processes, challenge inefficient or inherited ways of working, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency through process optimisation, automation and AI.

The focus will be on understanding how the business operates today, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring processes are reviewed and optimised before new technology solutions are introduced.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and requirements-gathering sessions to understand operational challenges and business needs.
  • Produce detailed process maps, documenting current-state (AS-IS) and future-state (TO-BE) processes.
  • Challenge established ways of working and recommend practical improvements to drive operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and the effective application of AI.
  • Translate business requirements and process improvement opportunities into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Work collaboratively with IT team and business stakeholders to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within business improvement, operational transformation or process optimisation programmes.
  • Strong process mapping and business process analysis skills.
  • Experience reviewing existing processes and identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills, with the ability to challenge existing practices constructively.
  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and requirements elicitation.
  • A pragmatic, analytical approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Experience within the construction industry would be beneficial.

The Opportunity

  • 12-month programme within an established construction business.
  • Part-time commitment of 3 days per week.
  • Outside IR35 engagement.
  • Opportunity to influence operational processes and identify improvements before technology implementation.

If you have strong Business Analysis and process improvement experience and are looking for a part-time Outside IR35 contract onsite in Hemel Hempstead, please apply to discuss the opportunity further.
