What You’ll Do:
The Director, Ad Sales Marketing will lead the development and execution of Spotter’s strategic positioning, advertiser solutions, and creator-led brand partnerships to drive revenue growth and strengthen Spotter’s leadership in the Creator Economy. This is a highly hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves position for someone who is equally comfortable shaping the strategy and jumping in to execute the work.
You will own opportunities end-to-end: from initial pitch strategy, ideation, positioning, and RFP development through post-sale activation, production, and campaign execution. This role will translate Creator-first insights, cultural moments, and Spotter’s advertising capabilities into compelling programs for brands and agencies, then ensure those ideas are brought to life seamlessly across creators, clients, production partners, and internal teams.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, strategic operator with deep media and integrated marketing experience, a high degree of fluency and passion for the creator ecosystem and evolving entertainment and technology landscape, exceptional written and visual communication skills, and the ability to move fluidly between big-picture strategy and hands-on execution.
Responsibilities include:
- Own Spotter’s RFP and proposal strategy for priority brand and agency opportunities, setting the narrative direction, creative positioning, and recommendation framework that brings together Spotter’s full suite of creator-led advertising solutions.
- Lead cross-functional pitch development across Sales, Research, Planning, Creator Partnerships, Product, and Operations, driving alignment, timelines, and stakeholder input to deliver cohesive, insight-driven proposals and presentations
- Lead project management and production oversight for sold campaigns, acting as a primary point of contact between clients, creators, agencies, and internal teams, managing production timelines, client feedback and approvals, creative alignment, and key dependencies to ensure programs are delivered against the agreed scope, strategy, and advertiser expectations.
- Partner closely with internal & 3rd party legal partners to collaborate on the translation of commercial deal points and business requirements into clear, accurate contractual terms, ensuring agreements reflect the strategic intent and negotiated parameters of creator + brand partnerships.
- Elevate Spotter’s go-to-market positioning and core sales story, ensuring messaging is creator-first, advertiser-relevant, and differentiated, and that sales materials consistently reflect Spotter’s strategic priorities and marketplace leadership.
- Develop and refine premium, high-impact sales materials including pitch decks, creator portfolio overviews, category POVs, tentpole packages, case studies, sizzles, and one-sheets that improve proposal quality, speed, and win rates in partnership with Sales and Marketing leadership.
- Partner with Ad Sales Research, Analytics and third party measurement partners to develop differentiated research approaches, measurement frameworks, and methodologies that demonstrate the value of creators, crater fandom, and Spotter’s advertising solution
- Own post-campaign storytelling and renewal strategy, translating campaign performance, brand lift, audience insights, creative learnings, and client feedback into clear narratives that demonstrate impact and identify opportunities for optimization expansion, and future partnership
- Drive integrated solutioning and packaging, collaborating with Product, Planning, and Operations to position new ad products and advertiser-ready offerings, ensuring proposals are supported with clear value propositions and modular components that scale.
- Maintain and evolve Ads Marketing resources, tools, processes, and best practices that improve sales storytelling, custom content development, and campaign execution across the organization
What you will bring:
Education & Experience/Certifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of related ad sales/integrated marketing, branded content, creator partnerships or experience in a related field preferred
- College degree in marketing, business administration or related field preferred
Desired Skills and Competencies:
- Exceptional storytelling and communication/presentation skills (written, verbal and visual) with demonstrated ability to transform creative positioning narratives into compelling sales materials and collateral
- High fluency in and passion for the creator ecosystem, including social and digital video platforms, emerging content formats, audience behavior, and the evolving intersection of entertainment, media, advertising, and technology
- Strong understanding of custom content development and contracting, with experience translating creative ideas and negotiated deal points into clear scopes of work, deliverables, production requirements, usage terms, timelines, and approval frameworks.
- Experience working with Creators, talent, production companies, agencies, brands, or other external partners strongly preferred
- Team player and effective collaborator who is willing to roll up their sleeves
- Proven ability to multitask and oversee multiple projects and priorities independently in a
- Detail-oriented, organized, creative problem solver
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook). Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets & Google Slides.
- Ability to learn new proprietary software and processes quickly and proficiently
- Creative development experience is a plus (graphic design, video editing)

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be performed in New York City. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range is: $150K-$170K salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Spotter’s total compensation package for employees.
