Developer – ApplinX Web Developer

Job Summary:

• Maintain and support existing ApplinX web development solutions.
• Support modernization efforts for legacy JAWS and MAVERICS applications.
• Develop and implement limited application enhancements as required.
• Collaborate with MDHS technical staff to gather requirements and implement changes.
• Analyze business and technical requirements.
• Properly incorporate, test, and implement application changes.
• Perform application testing and troubleshooting.
• Establish and support ApplinX-related operations according to best practices.
• Support:
  • ApplinX Servers
  • ApplinX Designer Seats
  • ApplinX Applications
  • ApplinX Web Applications
  • ApplinX NATAPX Hosts
• Troubleshoot application and web-related issues.
• Develop well-performing and maintainable web solutions.
• Work with customers and stakeholders to formulate business requirements.
• Follow Agile software development methodologies.

Required Skills & Experience

ApplinX

• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining ApplinX solutions.
• Experience working with ApplinX version 11 or later.
• Experience supporting:
  • ApplinX Server
  • ApplinX Designer
  • ApplinX Applications
  • ApplinX Web Applications
  • ApplinX NATAPX Hosts

Java / .NET

• 7+ years of Java experience.
• Strong programming experience with Java or Microsoft .NET.
• Hands-on application development and maintenance experience.

Web Technologies

Strong knowledge of modern web technologies, including:

• HTML
• CSS
• JavaScript
• Web application development
• Web integration methods

Business & Requirements Analysis

• Experience working directly with customers and stakeholders.
• Ability to gather, analyze, and formulate business requirements.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Development Methodology

• Experience with Agile software development.
• Experience participating in development, testing, implementation, and maintenance activities.

Technical & Communication Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to design and structure well-performing web applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong presentation and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively with technical and business teams.
