Schedules:

  • 1st Shift | 7 AM - 3:30 PM

  • 2nd Shift | 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Additional training in graphic design, digital printing, prepress operations, or computer-aided design (CAD) is preferred.

  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, production specifications, layouts, and printing instructions.

  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn print production software and digital workflow systems.


Experience Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in prepress, digital printing, graphic production, print manufacturing, or a related field preferred.

  • Experience preparing artwork, production files, and press-ready layouts for printing.

  • Familiarity with CAD software, digital imaging systems, file management, and production workflows.

  • Experience performing quality checks and troubleshooting file, layout, or formatting issues.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify artwork, formatting, and production errors.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced production environment.

  • Analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with production, design, and manufacturing teams.

  • Adaptability to changing technology, production requirements, and customer specifications.


Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and work at a computer workstation for extended periods.

  • Frequent visual inspection of artwork, proofs, layouts, and digital files.

  • Ability to use standard office and production equipment, including computers and imaging systems.

  • Capability to occasionally lift and move materials, files, or production supplies as needed.


Job Duties

  • Review customer artwork, job tickets, and production specifications to create accurate, press-ready files for digital print production.

  • Develop, modify, and validate layouts using CAD, digital imaging, and prepress software to ensure compliance with production requirements.

  • Prepare production files by applying registration marks, color bars, masking, plate identification information, and other print specifications.

  • Inspect digital artwork, proofs, images, and layouts for quality, accuracy, completeness, and formatting issues before production.

  • Launch and monitor digital imaging or plate-making processes while ensuring production standards are met.

  • Enter, maintain, retrieve, and organize production data, digital files, and completed work orders within company systems.

  • Collaborate with production and operations teams to resolve artwork, layout, and workflow issues while meeting customer deadlines.
