Job Description

A leading Scottish founded organisation where IT is at the heart of the business are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst (ideally with Power Apps/Power Platform experience)to join their Glasgow team (onsite).

We've worked with this organisation for several years now and have helped a number of their current IT team join and heard great things first hand, they've got a great culture and offer opportunities for progression.

The role:

This is a varied role that will sit across both business intelligence and Power Platform development. You'll be responsible for building reporting solutions in Power BI and SSRS, as well as developing Power Apps and Power Automate solutions to improve business processes.

The organisation works across a number of different systems and, don't have a single ERP platform bringing everything together. You'll therefore work with data from multiple sources and centralised databases, helping to turn that information into useful reporting and solutions for the wider business.

You'll work closely with stakeholders across different departments to understand their requirements, translate these into technical solutions, and deliver dashboards, reports and applications that provide genuine business value.

You'll be joining a small tight-knit team of four, which will give you plenty of exposure across the wider technology function, and even opportunities to pick up ownership on certain projects / tasks.

You'll ideally have experience (or an understanding) of most of the following:

** Developing and deploying BI or reporting solutions

** Power BI

** SQL skills and working with data models

** Gathering requirements directly from business stakeholders

** Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences

** Developing Power Apps and Power Automate solutions

The Offer:

Their offices are based in North Lanarkshire, where they have parking available onsite. This role is a fully onsite position, so you'd be expected at their offices five days per week - so they're ideally looking for candidates that are based fairly local. In return, they are able to offer a salary of £35k -£40k, on top of their benefits package.

This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious BI Developer or Power Platform Developer who is looking to take the next step in their career. You'll have the chance to work across both reporting and application development, gaining exposure to a wide range of technologies, projects and areas of the business. It's a role where you'll be given genuine responsibility and ownership from the outset, with the opportunity to get involved in projects end-to-end rather than being limited to one area.
