Electronics Hardware Design Engineer

About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electronics Hardware Design Engineer to join an established engineering team working on the design, development, testing, and support of innovative electronic products.
Reporting to the Senior Hardware Engineer, this role will involve the full product development lifecycle, from concept and design through to testing, validation, and manufacturing support. You will work closely with senior engineers and engineering technicians on a diverse range of projects, gaining exposure to cutting-edge technologies while contributing to both new product development and existing product improvements.
Responsibilities of the Electronics Hardware Design Engineer
- Design complex mixed-signal analogue and digital electronic systems incorporating power electronics.
- Develop analogue measurement, sensing, and data acquisition circuitry for advanced electronic products.
- Design and support microprocessor-based hardware systems.
- Produce high-quality design, analysis, verification, and support documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
- Prototype, debug, test, and validate electronic hardware designs.
- Participate in product testing, validation, and compliance activities.
Requirements for the Electronics Hardware Design Engineer
- Degree qualified in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience designing complex mixed-signal analogue and digital circuits.
- Proven knowledge of analogue electronics, measurement systems, and data acquisition circuit design.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and fault-finding skills for complex electronic systems.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Ability to obtain UK Ministry of Defence security clearance.
